what do you do?
The first step for players and their parents
to take, is to learn about and develop a
deep understanding of all of the options
they have with regard to both training, and
competition levels:
> What the levels
are in the matrix, how they are the same and
how they are different. What are the
"pros and cons" of each
level.
> What level am I
in right now? What level do I want to be in
someday?
> Where can I learn more
about local teams and training options
available to me in any of the levels? |
By
answering these questions and more, players and
parents can develop an accurate, and informed
assessment of their needs, and then begin plotting
a direction to follow to developing and achieving
realistic goals.
