Information
Today
is ...it is a GREAT day to play soccer!
|
Mission Statement:
To provide
youth players with a rewarding, passionate and
fulfilling experience while training and
competing in the world’s greatest game. |
The club accomplishes this mission by creating an
environment where players can:
- Experience a maximum level of personal enjoyment
- Develop self-confidence in their ability
- Achieve measurable success as an individual and as a
member of a team
Our guiding principle is “Achieve You Goals”. This
principle can be defined as helping players
become the best they can be. To do this, players need to
establish meaningful and measurable goals.
Through our Club program and our affiliation with the
Soccer Players Association, members of Jersey United Club Teams
become enrolled in programs that help
youth players and their parents define their goals, and
create and implement the plans to achieve those goals.
Rather then building the “best” teams,
Jersey United’s club team program help players:
a) “do their best” and...
b) bring the “best out of each player”.
Although we strive to compete and win, we believe that
success is not only measured in wins and losses, or
championships...
Rather,
at Jersey United, we
believe that success is measured in many ways such as:
- Having a rewarding experience; feeling happy and
passionate about playing
- Self-confidence; feeling good about one's self
- Teamwork; understanding and achieving contributions
from all players / coaches
- Individual performance improvements; measuring each
player's skills and abilities and working
hard at getting better, and actually being able to demonstrate the
improvement
